It has been six years since the former Manly Sea Eagles Captain, and NSW and Australian Rugby League representative, has donned the football boots — but Geoff Toovey (pictured) can still pull a crowd. The youngest member of the NRMA Board was among friends and former supporters as he launched NRMA’s free youth membership campaign in December at Warringah Mall.

Geoff signed autographs and spoke to local youth about young driver issues and the benefits of being an NRMA Member.

“Taking part in the launch gave me the perfect opportunity to meet with so many young drivers face-to-face and talk about the issues that are important to them,” says Geoff.

“I am pleased to see that so many young drivers have made the most of NRMA’s free offer.

“The NRMA has strongly advocated on behalf of our Members and young motorists. With more young Members joining our organisation, we will be even better placed to speak out on behalf of young drivers.”
