A recent survey conducted by NRMA Motoring & Services found that one in four young drivers have had their hopes of love dashed because their car broke down on their way to a date, with unimpressed partners giving grief to 40% of latecomers. All up, 40% of young drivers who own a car have broken down at least once, which becomes a significant safety issue if they’re left stranded.
“That is why we want young drivers to get access to our roadside help,” says NRMA youth spokesperson, Camille Dagher.
