If you’re a woman interested in entering the automotive industry, you can take advantage of free, semester-long courses. Sponsored by NRMA in conjunction with TAFE, these courses are on offer to women of all ages and give you the chance to better understand what is required to enter the automotive industry.
Completing the course gives you a clear advantage if you apply for an apprenticeship, or decide to undertake further training and jobs in auto-mechanical repairs.
NRMA sponsors the courses to assist the automotive industry to address a skill shortage, and to help increase the number of women working in such a traditionally male-dominated industry.
