NRMA has embarked on a campaign to grow the number of email addresses we have for our Members.
Only 13% of our 1.8 million Members have provided their email addresses to us. Yet we know many of our Members are comfortable doing their banking or paying bills online. If we can increase the number of email addresses we have for our Members we can fast-track the way we communicate with you. |
For example, with more email addresses we will be able to offer special Member discounts and benefits for short term deals like ‘fire sale’ offers.
It will be a quicker and more effective way to get your feedback on important Members’ issues or road safety matters.
The other benefit is that it will also help cut costs in postage and printing.
If you would like more information, please call our membership team on 13 11 22.
The cover story in this issue of Open Road is about Thrifty – and the benefits NRMA Members can get from our purchase.
Over the last few weeks we have also grown our investments in travel, accommodation and holidays with the purchase of four new holiday parks in Umina, Parklea, Merimbula and Darlington Beach (north of Coffs Harbour).
These holiday parks are exactly the type of family getaway destination our Members have told us they love.
And they love them for a number of reasons: they offer a range of affordable accommodation, they are well located for families wanting to holiday on the coast or in Sydney, and they always have plenty of activities to keep the whole family occupied.
These investments also fit with our company strategy of diversifying our investment portfolio – giving you even more benefits and helping to secure the long term future of our company.
NRMA Members will directly benefit from these new investments with special Member discounts and other benefits. Please keep an eye out in future issues of Open Road for more details on these and other great benefits.
Finally, the road toll across the Easter holiday period was too high with 10 people losing their lives in NSW and the ACT.
These latest statistics are a grim reminder that we all need to do more to make our roads safer. It begins with our own behaviour behind the wheel and I encourage all Members to drive safely.
